Happy St. Patrick’s Day
|
||||
Be sure to participate in the “wearin’ of the green” today!!!
Here’s an Irish Song:
When Irish eyes are smiling,
‘Tis like a morn in spring.
With a lilt of Irish laughter
You can hear the angels sing.

Here’s an Irish Wish:
For each petal on the shamrock
This brings a wish your way -
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day.

Here is an Irish Joke:
Never iron a four-leaf clover, because you don’t want to press your luck.
And it wouldn’t be St. Patrick’s Day without an Irish Toast!
Saint Patrick was a gentleman, who through strategy and stealth
Drove all the snakes from Ireland, here’s a drink to his health!
But not too many drinks, lest we lose ourselves and then
Forget the good Saint Patrick, and see them snakes again!

I tried to research St. Patty’s day and came up with conflicting information, would be interesting to see what you come up with for the reason why we in the USA celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Any thoughts?
