National Train Day

This event is on Saturday, May 8th and runs from 10 am – 4 pm at Portland’s Union Station. Apparently there will be model trains setup in the lobby as well. It should be fun.

Event Description: For our third year of proud participation in the annual National Train Day celebrations, the PSU Friends of History will host a program on the history of American train travel as a leisure time activity; showing how train travel contributed to the growth of Oregon and our nation.
